J. Cory was born and raised in the McAllen, Texas where he lived less than 20 minutes away from the Mexican border. Cory graduated in 2017 from McAllen Memorial high school, where he was a Mustang for four years. Growing up in McAllen, J. Cory was exposed to all types music, movies, cultures, and most of all challenges. Growing up in the Rio Grande valley, Cory was surrounded by people in unfortunate situations with no motivation to get out of it. Though it is very easy to get caught up in that loop, Cory had a mind of his own and was NOT easily influenced. Distracting himself with sports, music, and movies.
J. Cory buried himself deep in those three categories.

Sports giving him a strong efficient work ethic, determined mindset that “no excuse is the best excuse”,  and NOT looking around the room for someone else to fix his problems.

A tuned ear in Music from being exposed to all types of genres like Tejano, Corridos, Spanish Trap, Country, Pop, and his Favorite Hip-Hop Rap. Cory’s musical influences range from Siggno, Duelo, Intocable, to J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Baby Keem, Smino, Tems, JID, ¿TEO?, Kid Cudi, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallace, Kane Brown, & Kanye West just to name a few.

J. Cory found himself craving the entertainment industry not knowing his next move he decided to search for someone who shared a unstoppable vision as he always has. On his search J Cory came across Director Alberto Ornelas’s films he knew from that moment on it was a must that he met him one meeting turned into 2 and the vision become more clear to both parties that their journey would become bigger then they could ever imagine. Alberto Ornelas owner of The Bomb TV and The Bomb Records decided to sign J Cory aboard to his companies where he is the head of Sales . Sharing the Vision for the company and collecting the funds to make them possible. He’s also an Executive Producer on Films Directed by The BombTV. Giving him a respectable opinion on the direction of upcoming products.
